Busy Bee! & RA 114

Busy Bee! & RA 114

I feel like I’ve been neglecting the blog for a week or two, and I am afraid it is bound to continue at least for another week or two.  So, I thought I would get all personal on you, and let you know what I am up to at this moment.

Technically, I have an invitation for those of you that live around Fort Worth.  I am in play, that is set to perform tonight and Saturday.  It is a musical parable of the Ten Virgins.  We have two performances, they are free to the public, and kids are welcome too.  (It is only about an hour long, so not too hard to sit through for really young ones, and there are cupcakes or a wedding cake after the performance.. free for everyone)

7:00 pm on the 16th and 17th of March

at 5001 Altamesa boulevard, Fort Worth, TX

I am pretty sure I have never written about this before (since I am always busy talking about building projects) but I LOVE to sing.  That is my first passion.  I’ve been doing it all my life, and it is a funny thing it has hardly been in my life since moving to Texas.  I miss it.  I am surprised by how much I have enjoyed getting together with a bunch of other ladies and just goofing off and singing.  Technically I have been in this play before when I lived in North Carolina.  And guess what I have???!! A little sound recording clip of one of that performance… I thought it would be fun to share… it is just the music, and a quick little speaking part.

Music by Emily Freeman

I would love to meet you, if you come, please introduce yourself after the show (p.s. this time, I am actually prepared and wise!  ( I am Leora, I have a big old walking stick, now you will know who I am! )  (featured image source)

We have a button for the party below, I don’t have the code right now, so if you will just please hyper link the image to Remodelaholic that would be great!  Please add it to your blog or the post somewhere so other people can find out about the party and join in.  I would be very thankful!

Here are the party guideline/rules:

1. Please add Remodelaholic to your blog reading list first.

2. Please link to something that is relevant to this blog’s topics (up to 3 links per blog ONLY!). For example, a remodel, before and after, recipe, craft, DIY project, show us what you are working on.  Please no businesses or etsy shop links (join us on Saturdays to link shops).

3. Link to the specific post, not your homepage!

I really enjoyed your voice. Since I live so far away and won’t be able to attend you will have to do more post of your singing. I also love your blog. Be sure to enjoy your play.

Girl…………..you can sing! Who knew???? Your voice is amazing. I think you should be on Broadway or at least make a children’s lullaby album.
