Valentine Pizza Dinner!

Valentine Pizza Dinner!

There has been the cutest Valentine family dinner  idea floating around Pinterest.  I had to try it for Valentines.  But because time is of the essence, I went the semi-homemade route.  I stopped by my local Papa Murpheys and picked up a take and bake cheese pizza.

All you need is a package of pepperonis and a small metal cookie cutter.  Stack about 10 pepperonis together at a time, place the cookie cutter centered on the pile and push through.  Then add them to your pizza.  The leftover cutout piece is also cute.  You could do one pizza with the hearts and one with the circular cutout left overs!

This only took a few minutes, but is a great idea for a busy mom that wants to do something special for Valentine’s day.  We served ours with sautéed spinach and bacon bits.

It would be the cherry on top of the dinner to make a cute Shirley Temple to drink, there is a recipe here.
