Ten Great Easy Holiday Neighbor Gift Ideas
I know it’s barely November… but I’m already looking ahead to Christmas! I’m not trying to skip Thanksgiving (hello food! oh, and hi family!), but when it comes to giving gifts, I like to at least try to be ahead of the game so that I’m not missing out on the fun of the holidays because I’m stressing about all the little gifts for the people you love to appreciate: neighbors, co-workers, teachers, friends, etc.
So, here are ten of my favorite neighbor gift ideas that won’t break the bank OR take too much of your time this holiday season. Check them out and then jump down to the Remodelaholics Anonymous party to share your latest awesome projects and ideas!
Frozen Cookie Sampler | Delia Creates
I love getting and giving holiday treats, but sometimes, it’s nice to get a treat that you can enjoy later. This frozen cookie sampler by Delia Creates is adorable and lets your friends enjoy just one or two cookies at a time, whenever they feel like it.
Fresh Stovetop Potpourri | Picky Palate
Mmm… the smells of the season can just make the stress of the season melt away. At least for a few minutes! This fresh potpourri recipe from Picky Palate can be put on the stove or in a slow cooker for a wonderful smell throughout the whole house.
Paper Plates/Dishes | How Does She
In the hectic mess of the holidays, save your neighbors on dishes by wrapping up some paper plates! See more about this idea and over 40 other holiday neighbor gifts over at How Does She.
Seasonal Printables and Frame | Eighteen 25
Give a gift that gives all year with these awesome seasonal printables from Eighteen 25 and a simple frame.
Cinnamon Almonds | The Recipe Critic
Yum! These slow cooker cinnamon almonds by The Recipe Critic are a great holiday treat — seasonal but still at least kinda healthy since almonds are packed with protein!
Straws (And A Clever Tag!) | Crap I’ve Made
If you’re really short on time, this straw gift from Crap I’ve Made is perfect! It will only take you a few minutes to put together a label, and it will make your neighbors chuckle, too!
Snowman Kit | The Fickle Pickle
This snowman kit from The Fickle Pickle will take a bit more hands-on time than some other gifts, but how fun would it be to have a full neighborhood of snowmen made from your handmade kits? And older kiddos can really easily help put a kit together for their friends, too.
Teacup Succulent Garden | Queen B and Me
For just $3, you can put together a simple teacup succulent garden, perfect for a desk or mantel. We all love to see some signs of greenery and life during the winter! Get the tutorial from Queen B and Me.
Tissues and Cough Drops | A Little Tipsy
For a gift that is both thoughtful and useful, grab a box of tissues and a collection of health items like cough drops and hand sanitizer. The “cute” kicker is the tag: We “tissue” a merry Christmas and healthy New Year! Get more details about this gift from A Little Tipsy.
Sugar Scrub | Yonder
Help your friends and neighbors relax with a simple sugar scrub recipe from Yonder. It uses essential oils (like I use in my natural bug spray recipe), which have great healing and relaxation properties AND smell amazing, too!
