Friday Favorites: Barn Door Corner Office and Recycled Glass
Happy Friday! I hope you all are having a wonderful summer and enjoying the last bit before school starts again. I have friends whose kids are back in school this week, already! Don’t miss out on all our back to school printable signs — and check out some of our favorites from this week’s link party plus some faves that we’ve shared around on Facebook and Instagram as well. Can’t wait to see what you’ve been up to! (Bloggers, please share with your friends since we LOVE finding new bloggers to watch and share!)
Favorite non-traditional way to use concrete: Concrete projects are everywhere and we love seeing them — check out how DIY Furniture Studio hand-molded cement around old glass bottles to create a whole new look!
Favorite barn door: Yup, a new one just about every week, ha! This corner office/study area by Schumacher Homes is beautiful, and the barn doors create privacy when closed, without unnecessary obstructions when the doors are open.
Favorite creative fridge: Would you be so bold? This Mama’s Dance wallpapered her fridge!
Favorite mom hangout: I know this is supposed to be for kids, but I want one just for me! Get the details over at The Handmade Home — no sewing!
Favorite use of wrapping paper: I’ve used it in hutches and cabinets — wrapping paper has so much potential! Pillar Box Blue used it in her son’s nightstand, made from an old wine crate!
Favorite versatile decor: It’s nice to have decor that can take small changes between seasons instead of totally swapping it out, and Pender and Peony‘s mantel looks great with this cotton boll and burlap garland — see how she changes it up for both summer and fall!
Favorite glass upcycle: Sadie Seasongoods recycling service no longer accepts glass, so what’s a girl to do but make it into beautiful sea glass!
Favorite farmhouse room: This entire farmhouse breakfast nook by Craftivity Designs looks great, but I love the light, and the photo display on the wall!
Favorite laundry room: Okay, it’s not the inside… but check out that door over at Delightfully Noted! And see more favorite things that we share over on Instagram — and share yours with #imaremodeaholic.

Favorite bedside table: The farmhouse style is strong over at The Weathered Fox with this easy and stylish hanging bedside table!

Thank you so very much for the love you have given my sea glass bottle project- here and on Facebook! You’ve made my day several times over. 🙂 Grabbing a button now!
It is so pretty and so smart and so EASY! You deserve all the love and more! We’d love to have you link up your other great projects at the party, too, if you haven’t already 🙂
Thanks for featuring my breakfast nook! Isn’t that light such a cool find? And I loved that it was locally made and sourced!
Such a bonus on a cool find! Thanks for sharing, Lora!
Thank you for the feature! Love your blog! (For me, your blog like the gold standard!)
Aww, thanks, Jen! Did you get the email we sent you a few days ago? Drop me a line at hello@remodelaholic.com if you can’t find it 🙂
Hi Cass! Just wanted to thank you for the love. So excited to be featured. I’ve really enjoyed your blog — only having recently discovered it.
