Friday Favorites: Barn Door Corner Office and Recycled Glass

Happy Friday! I hope you all are having a wonderful summer and enjoying the last bit before school starts again. I have friends whose kids are back in school this week, already! Favorite yard sale find: Mylove2create snagged those table legs for a couple bucks at a yard sale and a combined it with some reclaimed wood to build a great rustic coffee table!

Favorite non-traditional way to use concrete: Concrete projects are everywhere and we love seeing them — check out how DIY Furniture Studio hand-molded cement around old glass bottles to create a whole new look!

Favorite barn door: Yup, a new one just about every week, ha! This corner office/study area by Schumacher Homes is beautiful, and the barn doors create privacy when closed, without unnecessary obstructions when the doors are open.

Favorite creative fridge: Would you be so bold? This Mama’s Dance wallpapered her fridge!

Favorite mom hangout: I know this is supposed to be for kids, but I want one just for me! Get the details over at The Handmade Home — no sewing!

Favorite use of wrapping paper: I’ve used it in hutches and cabinets — wrapping paper has so much potential! Pillar Box Blue used it in her son’s nightstand, made from an old wine crate!

Favorite versatile decor: It’s nice to have decor that can take small changes between seasons instead of totally swapping it out, and Pender and Peony‘s mantel looks great with this cotton boll and burlap garland — see how she changes it up for both summer and fall!

Favorite glass upcycle: Sadie Seasongoods recycling service no longer accepts glass, so what’s a girl to do but make it into beautiful sea glass!

Favorite farmhouse room: This entire farmhouse breakfast nook by Craftivity Designs looks great, but I love the light, and the photo display on the wall!
