Friday Favorites: Garden Ideas and Indoor Spaces
Before we get to the Friday Favorites, we are in a design competition with La-z-boy! We would love it if you would take a minute to vote (you can vote once a day) right over here or by clicking the photo below. AND if you vote you are entered to win some big money! Thank you for your help! We are in the home stretch so please, please, please vote!
Now let’s see what we have for Friday Favorites this week. this week we have to pretty indoor spaces and great garden ideas! Add a special touch to just about any area of your home with these favorites as your inspiration!
Favorite Nursery and Guest Room: A reader, Jennifer, shared her gorgeous farmhouse inspired nursery/guest room. See more about all the fun touches over at Project Nursery.
Favorite Feature Wall Project: The Created Sign shared how to make this beautiful barn wood wall. To see how she created this look head on over to her Facebook Page.
Favorite Upcycle: Pillar Box Blue got really creative with this bench and used old materials to make something brand new. Love the bright green legs with the wood tones.
Favorite Faux Look: Savvy Apron wanted to elevate the look of her fireplace. She painted over the tile for a beautiful faux marble look. I would have never guessed it was faux from this photo.
Favorite Space Saving Garden: The Heathered Nest created a smart way to garden when space is in short supply. Build up instead of out! A vertical garden uses less space, but still provides fresh herbs and vegetables.
Favorite Solar Lights: The Navage Patch has taken solar lights to a new level. I Like the idea of solar lights, but really like the idea when they are unique. Use a water globe to create these cool water drop solar lights.
Favorite Budget Fairy Garden Idea: Dazzle While Frazzled used a tin can to make this fairy house and I kind of love it. I’ve walked down the fairy garden aisle at Hobby Lobby and it is all really cute, but I’m not sure I could bring myself to buy a bunch of fairy garden stuff. So this is a perfect way to get the look for less. Plus, a fun project for kids too!
Favorite Patio Set: Mini House, Mighty Hearts built their own patio set. I love that it is customized to match their preferences. This is definitely not a cookie cutter patio set.

Favorite Pops of Color: So many colors that look so cute together. Bright colors can really add to a space. This room is fairly neutral, but add in decor accents with lots of fun colors and it turns into a bright and cheery space.
I'm Emily and I share my ideas to celebrate and create over at The Benson Street.
