HOW TO MAKE A TALL CONCRETE PLANTER

Elisha from Pneumatic Addict joined us to show us how to build this beautiful concrete planter.  Start by making the outside form.

01

02

Don't forget to add drain tubes (that will not be concreted) so that your plants can thrive.

In order to have that pretty detail at the top of the planter you must attach a decorative molding to the form before pouring.

03

Build the inner box of the concrete form.

04

Add a center support bar this will help to support the concrete  since those walls are just screwed together.

05

Caulk all the interior edges that will be in contact with the concrete.

06

Cover raw edges of melamine form with Duct tape.

07

Add support bars to the center box of the concrete form.  With the form prepared and ready you can begin to pour the concrete.
