Lemon Waffles

These Lemon Waffles have it all, they are super delicious and easy to make. They are rich and soft and so good they almost melt in your mouth!


  • Cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 Cups milk
  • ¼ Cup vegetable oil
  • 2 Egg yolks
  • 2 Egg whites
  • ½ Cup sugar
  • 1 Tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt
  • 2 Tbsps lemon juice
  • 1 Tsp baking powder
  • ½ Cup lemon sliced


  • Preheat the waffle maker.
  • Blend the all-purpose flour, milk, vegetable oil, egg yolks, half the sugar, baking powder, and lemon juice.
  • Grease the waffle maker and pour the batter.
  • Cook for 4 minutes or until golden brown.
  • While cooking the waffles beat the egg whites with the vanilla extract, salt, and remaining sugar until stiff peaks are formed.
  • Serve the waffles with the meringue and lemon slices.
  • Enjoy.
