Preheat oven to 400°F.
Mix in a bowl, sugar, baking powder, butter, eggs, vanilla, and salt.
Stir in half the milk, then half the flour and repeat.
Beat until all ingredients combine and no lumps are left.
Prepare a muffin pan with muffin cups.
With a spoon, add a layer of batter, then add some jam and top with more batter.
Bake for 15 to 20 minutes.
While baking, beat together the ingredients for the garnishing until creamy, and place in a piping bag.
Remove the muffins from oven, set aside to cool.
Garnish using the piping bag.
Serve and enjoy.
