Porter Cable Multi-Tool Giveaway
Well, if you know us at all, then you know we love tools… We have slowly acquired our basic tools over the last 10 years of marriage, beginning with our first house remodel in Logan Utah while we were in college. And each year we find new tools that we wonder how we ever lived without.
I will admit with as much remodeling as we do, I don’t think I’ve ever regretted a tool purchase (don’t let your tool loving husband’s read this post, it might be ammunition to need to buy the next tool!)… Luckily for my husband (and our tool budget) this Porter Cable Cordless Oscillating Multi-Tool was given to us to see how we liked it. The verdict? I think I am going to have a hard time convincing my husband to put the tool down… If this thing was capable of loving back, I might need to be worried about my marriage, my husband loves it so much!
We recently made this Kiddie kitchen. He used this tool SO much that I have about 800 pictures of the different ways he was able to use this tool too! Since I don’t want to make this post too long, I will just show you a few of the highlights.
This is what Justin had to say about it:
This tool is now one of my favorites! There are many things I really like about it. When I first opened the box, I didn’t’ realize its potential. Then as I went though it and saw all the attachments I began to get pretty excited about the possibilities, it cuts, sands, grinds, and scrapes. I have never had a power scraping tool before. How cool that it does so many things from such a compact tool! Merry Christmas to me a little early!
I had the opportunity this last month to really use it and get familiar with it. I was building a little play kitchen for my daughters and there were a lot of corners that I needed to be sanded. The sanding option of this tool has been the most useful so far. Especially all the sand paper that comes with the tool.
The led light is a great plus. It lit up the areas I needed to sand in the dark corners of the cabinet.
I also used it for doing a lot of cutting It made sort work of little cuts that would have been rather awkward to cut with other tools.
One of the coolest features that I found was the tool free blade changing system. The last thing I need is a little tool to keep track of when I need to switch out a blade. All you have to do is squeeze where the blade attaches and pull the blade out. This is the first time that I have been introduced to this type of blade replacement option. It was so easy to use, And I am never looking back!
Another great feature, it is cordless. It is very light weight and easy to handle.
One last feature that is nice to have on any tool is a variable-speed dial. So many times, on my old tools, I wish they had an option to adjust the speed. Depending on the project or intricacy of that you are doing, this feature can really come in handy!
And since I just can’t get enough of it, here is what the tool was able to help us make!
Okay, Well, I wouldn’t just want to tease you by telling you all the great things this tool does, and then say “see ya later…” So, how about a giveaway?
One lucky winner will get their own Porter Cable Oscillating Multi tools!
