Easy Easter Egg Wreath DIY with a Bunny Butt

Make this easy DIY Easter Egg wreath with just a few supplies from Dollar Tree! Inexpensive and simple to make while adding festive cheer to your front door or tabletop decor.

Ingredients

  • 2 Dollar Tree egg wreath forms
  • Burlap ribbon
  • 3 bags of Dollar Tree eggs 5 eggs in each
  • Hot glue gun/glue sticks
  • Black zip ties
  • Floral moss or reindeer moss
  • Twine carrots
  • 2 wooden picket fence pieces
  • Piece of cardstock cardboard, or chipboard
  • White chalk paint or acrylic
  • Paintbrush
  • Dollar Tree bunny butt or bunny or chick face set - or swap in a stuffed animal, large fabric carrots, or an Easter gnome!

Instructions

  • Begin by painting your wooden fence pieces with white paint. Apply two coats for full coverage and allow them to dry completely.
  • Place one wreath form upside down on your work surface, so the curved back is against the table and creates a place to set the eggs. Lay out your Easter eggs on one of the wreath forms, arranging them in the desired color pattern.
  • Once the fence pieces are dry, zip tie them together and then attach them to the wreath form using zip ties. Place the piece of cardstock or cardboard at the bottom of the fence pieces and secure it with hot glue to help hold the picket fence in place.
  • Apply hot glue to the cardstock and press the moss on top to create a grassy base.
  • Attach the bunny butt (or whatever Easter character you chose) to the moss using hot glue, ensuring it is firmly in place. Then, add hot glue to the twine carrots and attach them to the fence section.
  • Place the second wreath form on top of the first one and use zip ties to secure them together.
  • Create a simple bow using the burlap ribbon and secure it with a zip tie. Attach the bow to the top of the wreath form using hot glue.
