This Raspberry Italian Soda with Cream is made with raspberry syrup and dances with bubbly soda topped off with a cloud of sweet cream. It's a nostalgic summer sip in a glass.
Ingredients
Ice
6ozClub Soda
¼cupraspberry syrupI used Davinci Gourmet Raspberry Syrup, but Monin and Torani both make raspberry syrup that can be found at most grocery stores
¼heavy whipping cream
Instructions
Fill a 16oz glass with ice about ¾ full. Pour the club soda over the ice, until the glass is approximately ¾ full.
Pour the raspberry syrup over the club soda, and finish with the heavy whipping cream on top. The flavored soda, and heavy whipping cream will separate into two layers, which makes for a beautiful presentation. Stir well before drinking.
Notes
For a lighter option, you could replace the syrup with a sugar-free flavor, and half-and-half instead of heavy whipping cream.
This recipe is so versatile, and you could make lots of other flavors by mixing up the syrups. Orange and vanilla syrup for a creamsicle, cherry vanilla, toffee nut, pumpkin spice just to name a few.
