Turtle Bars

These turtle bars are packed with flavor and all the delicious things a good turtle candy has. Caramel drizzles, big chocolate chunks, and chopped pecans.

Ingredients

  • ½ Butter stick
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 Cup flour
  • ½ Cup brown sugar
  • ¼ Cup melted chocolate
  • ½ Tbsp ground cinnamon
  • ½ Cup chocolate chunks
  • ¼ Cup chopped pecans
  • Salted caramel sauce

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350F and grease a baking tray.
  • In a stand mixer combine the butter and egg until creamy.
  • Add the flour, sugar, chocolate, and cinnamon. Mix until the batter thickens.
  • Pour the batter in the 9x10 baking tray and top with the chopped pecans and chocolate chunks.
  • Take to the oven for 20 minutes or until golden.
  • Remove from the oven and set aside to cool down.
  • Cut into bars.
  • Drizzle the caramel sauce
  • Serve and enjoy.
