For Sale By Owner 94 – Shop Linkup

For Sale By Owner 94 – Shop Linkup

I loved the tutorial one of my readers sent in for turning a Mason Jar into a pendant light.  Amazing how a simple, utilitarian canning jar can be repurposed into something so pretty, isn’t it?  So, when I was browsing Etsy and found the Country Barrel shop, I had to stop and look around.

Hello, lovely antique jars!  You’ll find genuine blue glass canning bottles here, as well as clear glass jars in funky vintage shapes, like barrels.

The shopkeepers of the Country Barrel have recently become involved in what they call “green crafting.”  They say, “Most everything we use is recycled and re- purposed. We take pride in knowing that every piece is 100% handmade and nothing duplicated. Everyone of our creations is a one off, and we aim to keep it that way.”

Most products available are made from vintage canning supplies, or you can find the accessories here to add to the jars you already have give them another use.  How fun is that?

Now it’s your turn to highlight what you’ve been making and selling. Remember, this link up is mainly for cottage industry shops–individuals and families working at home etc.

It’s a great way for people to find what you are selling. (It doesn’t have to be an Etsy shop, just FYI!)
