Home Sweet Home on a Budget: Laundry and Mudroom Linkup

Home Sweet Home on a Budget: Laundry and Mudroom Linkup

Yay!  I’m so ready for this party!  It’s been a blast this month finding cool laundry and mudrooms from around blogland to share with you.  But…it’s always so much fun during this end-of-the-month linkup to see what my readers have been working on.  Hopefully you’ve found some inspiration here on easy, inexpensive ways to add extra function, organization, or personality to an overlooked room in your house.  And better still, you’ve found a way to make those ideas work in your space and for your price.   I hope you’ll share your progress with all the other Remodelaholic readers out there by linking up your laundry room and/or mud room projects below.  I’ll be checking them out, and featuring my favorites next week!

Before you link up, I just want to really quickly show you a few fun ideas I found for getting lots of mileage out of your laundry room or mud room, with these multi-tasking spaces.  Each of them features at least one more use in addition to the original, planned use as a mud room or laundry room.  Talk about getting some bang for your buck!

Mud room and storage area from Forever Decorating.

Combination laundry and butler’s pantry at Monkey Grass Hill.

A laundry and crafting area from The Creativity Exchange.

Small space craft and laundry room at Home for the Better.

A command center in the mudroom at Positively Splendid.

Combination laundry and pantry at Nancy Elizabeth at Home.

Excellent idea:  laundry room + master bedroom closet from The Pleated Poppy.

Laundry, school, and crafts all in one room at Teal and Lime.

A well-planned garage and mudroom from The Money Pit.

Laundry and Craft Combo from The Homes I Have Made.

Your turn to show off your laundry and mudroom!  Click the linky button below to add links here to the laundry and mudroom projects you’ve blogged about.  The linky will be open until Monday night, September 2nd.  Please include a link back here to Remodelaholic in your post, so that others can join in the fun, too.  And if you really want to let your friends in on the fun, click the “pin it” button to creeate a Pinterest pin back to this linkup, right here:

Thanks for the shout out! I love having my mudroom in the garage. Especially when it rains.. nothing wet/muddy has to enter the house!

I’m not a blogger, but I AM so excited to see what you’ve already put together, and to see what others share this weekend. My ridiculously small closet that the builder called a “laundry room” (before he absconded, leaving us and other homeowners stuck w/ huge headaches), has me ready to give up and go to a laundry mat! Hope some of the ideas and pics include ideas for truly limited budgets and spaces.

Hello, thanks for linking to my blog :) I wanted to clear things up, though. That photo is from Canadian House & Home, if I remember correctly. It’s not MY laundry room! Thanks :)
