Parmesan Crusted Pork Chops

These juicy pork chops are coated in a crispy layer of Parmesan goodness, where comfort food meets culinary finesse, and making them is ridiculously easy. Just dip, coat, and cook to perfection.

Ingredients

  • 4 pork chops
  • 3 TBS Flour
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp pepper
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup parmesan cheese
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 250°F.
  • On a plate mix together flour, garlic powder, onion powder, salt and pepper.
  • In a shallow dish whisk together 2 eggs.
  • Pour 1 cup of grated parmesan on a plate.
  • Dip each pork chop in flour mixture until well coated on all sides.
  • Dip in whisked eggs on both sides.
  • Press each pork chop into parmesan and coat well. Let rest on parchment paper while oil heats.
  • Pour 1-2 cups of oil into a frying pan and heat on low-medium heat for 5 minutes.
  • Once oil is hot, place two pork chops at a time in the oil and fry for 5 minutes on each side.
  • Place the first two pork chops in preheat oven to keep warm.
  • Repeat steps for the second two pork chops.
  • Serve with mashed potatoes and your choice of veggies.

Notes

  • You only need about ¾ inch of oil in your pan. Depending on the size of your pan you will need 1-2 cups.
