Bright Kids Bathroom Reveal
Nov 4 Cassity
I am finally getting around to posting the kids bathroom!
I am so excited to share this bathroom redo, it is my new favorite room.
I think every room that I just finish is my new favorite:)
Ok here is the before again…
Everything in this bathroom was builder standard.
The bathroom itself was is great shape, but it definitely needed some pick me up.
And the after…
Aww, much better!
I did this bathroom fairly cheap. The big cost was the beadboard and paint but everything else was pretty inexpensive. I showed you how to frame the mirror herewhich only cost me $10 for this mirror.
I’m still looking for a new light fixture, I haven’t found the perfect one just yet.
I whipped up these prints in photoshop and printed them on cardstock.
I got the frames from ikea for $1.99 each for a total of $6!
The shower curtain and rug came from target.
I had been trying to figure of what to do with bath toys when I saw this basket on clearance at walmart.
I think it works perfect!
On the opposite wall I hung this “boats” sign that I got from Tai Pan. It was all the wrong colors, but I loved it so much that I painted over it with diluted white paint and navy blue craft paint. Then I lightly sanded over it to give it a bit of a distressed look.
I made the hooded towels following this tutorial.
It was SUPER easy and my kids LOVE them!
Probably my favorite project in this room are the towel hooks.
I got these faucet handles at Ace hardware for $2.50 a piece. They were red but I spray painted them orange. I think they are so fun and add a lot of character to a kids space!
and lastly I had extra orange spray paint and sprayed the kids step stool to match.
And there is my kids bathroom reveal.
It makes bath time so much easier!!

A very cute and fun room! I love it:)
What a great update. So cute and colorful. Very tastefully done. A sophisticated kids space.
this is one of the best kids’ bathrooms i’ve seen!
Thank you so much for the feature!! I am now posting a link to your site
looove those little spigot handles, the hardware store is the best!
The splashes of orange color make this bathroom so fun and unique. I love what you did with it. The spigots are also a very creative touch.
This is os darling. Love the hooks and hooded towels.
How cute are those faucet handles?? Great idea and the whole bathroom looks so cute!
This is amazing! I love the towel hooks.
Wow what a fantastic transformation. My favorite part is the towel hooks, so unexpected yet fits perfectly. All the colors are great I am sure the kids love it.
Love the bathroom and love the colors. Anyway you are willing to share the prints? They are so cute!
I adore this bathroom and it actually looks likes something I could afford to put together! How long ago did you get that darling rug and do you know the brand? Do you know what the paint color is called? My sons bathroom is currently the most awful turquoise bright little mermaid color and I’m sad to admit my uncrafty self was actually trying when I picked it. And are you willing to share those prints? Thanks for all your help. Sorry for so many questions!!!
Hilary – This was a guest post so I don’t have all the answers, but if you don’t hear back from the author you can just hop on over to her blog, the link is at the top of the post!
