Home Sweet Home on a Budget: Best Blogger Mudrooms

Home Sweet Home on a Budget: Best Blogger Mudrooms

Happy Friday, everyone!  You know how we’ve been focusing on the laundry room/mudroom this month?   I’ve been super excited about it, because I knew there was just so much inspiration out there.  It was fun to showcase blogger laundry areas last week, and I was looking forward to showing off some terrific mudrooms this week created by other bloggers.  So I started searching blogland for mudrooms…and it took a little more searching than I thought!

It’s no surprise, bloggers love mudrooms.  We collect pictures of our dream mudrooms from all over the web and glossy magazines and then write about how they inspire us.  We pin pictures of mudrooms to our Pinterest boards like crazy (here’s mine!).  We talk about how creating a mudroom of our own is on the top of our home project lists.  We just really, really, really want gorgeous mudrooms like the ones we’ve been seeing everywhere online!

House and Home

The reality is, though, the reason we’re so obsessed with mudrooms is that not all of us bloggers are lucky enough to have the space or the resources to create a room just for storing coats and boots and cute dog dishes.  For most of us with normal budgets and normal houses, it takes a lot of creativity and DIY spirit to turn our mudroom dreams into reality.  Turns out, it was actually pretty tough to find real blogger mudrooms!  That’s why I shared small-space mudroom ideas and a corner storage bench plan yesterday.  And it’s also why I think the following mudrooms are some of the best on the web: they are real spaces being used by real people who had real budgets.   I hope you’ll be just as inspired by these hardworking rooms as I am!

If you are excited about these mudrooms, too, I’d love it if you’d pin and share this post with your friends on Pinterest using the button above.  But if you’d like to pin individual pictures, please follow the links provided and pin directly from the original source.  (It’s the right thing to do!)
