We can all use a little help simplifying our morning routines.  Sometimes, all you have is a few minutes to get out the door.  Fortunately, with these simple and easy hairstyles, minutes are all you need to whip your hair into shape!  Try one of these ideas and you’ll look great in no time flat.

1. Knot a Ponytail

Step up the always go-to style – the ponytail – by adding just a little something. Simply gather your hair into a ponytail at the base of the neck, separate it into two pieces, tie them into two knots toward the base, and secure hair after the knots with a clear elastic band.

2. Reverse with a Twist

This is the perfect style when you need your hair in an up-do, quickly. Gather your hair into a ponytail at the back of your head, then twist it repeatedly while pulling the hair up toward the crown of your head.  Secure on the top of your head with a clip, leaving the ends free for a slightly messy look.

3. Bun in a Hurry

Here’s a classic style that looks polished, but only takes five minutes. Twist your hair on the sides, pulling them back into a ponytail with an elastic band.  Twist the ponytail while wrapping it around in a circle, for a bun shape, then tuck the end and pin into place.

4. Beachy Waves

This is an easy way to add some style, while still leaving your hair down. Divide your hair into two sections.  Twist each portion of hair and secure the ends with elastic bands. Take your flat iron and run it over both sections of hair a few times.  Release the hair from the twists, and use your fingers to smooth hair into place.

5. Overlapping Half Up

To mimic the look of a braid in half the time, go with this hairstyle.  Grab a small section of hair on each side of your face. Pull the right side over the left side of the head and secure with a bobby pin. Do the same to the left side, putting it on the right side and pinning in place.  Repeat this as many times as you want to get the desired look.  Leave the rest of your hair down and straight.
