Velvets

There is something so rich and luxurious about velvet! But, adding this trend to your home doesn’t have to be expensive. There are a lot of gorgeous velvets out there (particularly throw pillows) that won’t break the bank. Velvet helps add texture and warmth to your decor and is a simple way to update your existing throw pillows for fall. Mix in a few velvets and some additional texture throughout the room and you’re good to go!  Following are a few of our favorites. Simply click any of the images below to learn more about each item (you may have to double-tap on mobile).

Warm Metallics

From, brass, to copper to bronze, adding in some warm metallics to your space instantly adds a bit of a glam feel that also feels like fall. Following are a few of our favorite ways to add warm metallics. You’ll note we’re also loving the hammered metal trend! Simply click any of the images below to learn more about each item (you may have to double-tap on mobile).

Faux Fur

Nothing says cozy fall decor like a good faux fur! Not only are they incredibly warm, but they add a texture you can’t get from so many other textiles. Following are a few of our favorite ways to get this look. Simply click any of the images below to learn more about each item (you may have to double-tap on mobile).

Woven Textures

Woven textures can come from baskets, sweater-like materials, or anything with that chunky woven look. By adding these items to your space, your room will look inviting and layered to give that cozy look we all love for fall! Following are a few of our favorite ways to add woven textures. Simply click any of the images below to learn more about each item (you may have to double-tap on mobile).

Faux Finishes

Have you recently noticed the resurgence in faux finishes? This includes everything from peel and stick wallpaper, to removable backsplashes, to faux wood ceiling beams, to stenciled or vinyl floor updates. Don’t be immediately turned away for fear that this could look cheap. When done correctly, this trend can have amazing results! Our biggest piece of advice here is to read the reviews as thoroughly as possible before making a purchase to help ensure you end up with something you’ll likely love in the end! Following are a few of our favorite faux finishes. Simply click any of the images below to learn more about each item (you may have to double-tap on mobile).
