Friday Favorites: Beautiful Walls, Wall Art and More
Favorite Flamingo Wall Art: This lovely teen girl room is full of unique character. Flamingos are pretty cute and a trendy animal right now. Use a wall mural or wall paper to add a feature wall like this! Learn more about this Neutral Chic Teen Girl Room on Remodelaholic.
Favorite Faux Wallpaper Look: We recently shared this gorgeous and EASY herringbone accent wall that looks like wallpaper but it is actually hand stamped. This is project is easy, forgiving and a fun way to add something special to your walls. Learn how to get the look with the tutorial on Remodelaholic.
Favorite Way to fill a Small Empty Wall: Photo ledges, that slide, are a great way to fill up a small wall that is missing something. They only take about an hour to build and install. They are even easy to customize to any size with our tutorial. What would you display in them?
Favorite Bed Wall Art: Sometimes wall art can be part of a furniture piece. This adorable Mountain Range Bed does triple duty as furniture, a book shelf and wall art. We love how it turned out. Get the building plans at Emory Farms.
Favorite Renter Friendly Walls: If you can’t paint or add different textures to your walls, that doesn’t mean they have to be boring. One of our favorite ways to add character to rental walls is with large murals or in this case maps! We love how Lemon Thistle showcases this world map in her dining room.
Favorite Fixer Upper Wall Treatment: And yes, we love shiplap, but this brick using the german schmear is heavenly! The texture is so unique and interesting. This project by Crafted by the Hunts takes about a weekend and is budget friendly. I’m dreaming of all the places I want to add this in my house.
Favorite Faux Shiplap Wall: So if you think shiplap is gorgeous, but you have commitment issues, we’ve got you. This simple tutorial by Bless’er House for Remodelaholic will show you how to get the look on the cheap without having to install actual wood planks.
Favorite Baseball Wall Idea: Yay, it’s spring training. If you love baseball, you’ll understand. And this baseball wall art gets all the heart eyes from me. It is a cool art piece, but it is also functional. Bower Power made this cool piece as a place to display and organize baseball hats in her son’s room. So smart and fun!
Now it’s time to laugh! We are sharing some of the things that have made us laugh recently.
I’m not sure what the weather is like where you live, but winter just keeps coming around here. I’m ready for a little bit of spring.
Why, why, why?!?! We keep asking ourselves that question. We are so glad carpeted bathrooms are not on trend this s
eason or ever hopefully.
Why doesn’t that list grow and grow, but my motivation diminishes. Let me know if you want to finish any of my projects ;).
And this! Let everyone know as soon as you can!
We hope you’ve enjoyed having Friday Favorites back! There are so many good things we love to share with you.
I'm Emily and I share my ideas to celebrate and create over at The Benson Street.
Love the brick wall. I have an entire post on my blog on how to “fake” a brick wall. As for the carpet in bathroom.. It had to have been trending at one time because I’ve been in far to many houses that have had carpeted bathrooms. WHY?!!!
Thanks for the shout out! I love your blog! I think it was the first one I started following ♥️
