Master Bedroom Repainted and Decorated
in the past i have always put decorating the master to the bottom of the list but this year i decided to finally change that. in january, for our anniversary, i asked andy for my gift to be him helping paint our room without complaining. (painting may his worst nightmare) so there it began…our bedroom makeover.
first i will show you the horrid BEFORE pictures of our master bedroom.
i swear i took a before picture of this dresser we got for $50 off of Kijiji but i can’t find it. here are some clos ups of the after.
i made a little fake garden on the dreser top that was super cheap and i like the clear glass and white flowers they fit in well.
i also spray painted some bush branches with white for one of the vases. cyou can’t beat free!
and that is it. i am so HAPPY that this is done. it has been a long 10 month project and was really worth it. i love being in our room now. it feels so nice to have almost all the rooms in our house basically done now.
>I love the wall color you chose! Care to share the name?
>I love the wall color too! Gorgeous! The room is divine!
>I need the color!!! Pretty please!
>So beautiful. I am really happy ou painted the night tables that lovely shade of blue rather than going with white and having them match. Excellent work.
>Congratulations, you did such a good job! I love the ruffles on the pillows and the bench. Did you make those yourself?
>Beautiful retreat after a long day, congrats!
the paint color is arrow wood by ici paints the # is 10yy 27/060. i got the paint chip at canadian tire (which i know probably won't help any of you if you don't live in canada.)
it is a dark grey toupe color. i hope that helps a bit!
>i did make the pillows and bench cover myself. for a tutorial for the ruffle pillows go here:
>Love the colour, I am sure it feels as good as it looks or even better
