Need some input
I want to keep offering as many tutorials for around the house as I can but am curious about what you would like to see most. And I could use the inspiration. I would like to hear what you want plans or ideas for? What do you need help with around your house? What is an item you would like to see reused?
Please be specific, if you have an item you would like to see made that you have a link to, please include the link.
Obviously I can’t do it all, but I would love your input. And will consider all your input!
Thanks!

>I'm in need of seeing items repurposed that can serve as storage. I'm trying desperately to get our family of 8 better organized so if a decorative item doesn't serve a purpose beyond just looking pretty I can't use it.
>I second the closet organization (built-ins for kids closets with high and low rods so they can reach them) and think it would be awesome to have a tutorial on how to make floating shelves out of old doors. We're going to replace all of our old flat doors (no trim or paneling on them AT ALL) and it just seems like they should easily turn into floating shelves for the walls since they are hollow on the inside. How else could I use them to decorate and organize around the house?
>Posts about craft room storage.
>We have some horrible texturing on the walls in our house. If you know how to fix them, I would love to know! It looks like it was done by the previous homeowners or maybe a really inexperienced handy man.
Also, I purchased some buffet doors (the ones with wood slats that look kind of like shutters) last weekend at a garage sale. I know they can become something great, I'm just not sure yet what that something is.

>I have a big wood wall unit that housed our big screen TV. We no longer have the big screen as we have updated to the flat screen. SO what do we do with it now? It is very nice very expensive and has storage that I want to keep. Any Ideas? Right now we have put a table in the middle and use it like a desk.
>I have been trying to dream up ways to make a fold-away craft table that opens out of a cupboard. I have an old coffee table whose top i could use, but I'm not sure how to go about attaching it, hinging it, etc. I saw this idea and this is almost what I want, except I think the workspace should be bigger. https://www.sauder.com/furniture/product.asp?p=473
i do like that the table ends up poking lengthwise into the room, so you could sit alongside it and sew with your fabric going down the other side (as opposed to the hinges being on the long end and just sitting facing into the bookcase like a secretary desk). This should be easy but i have no skills and am afraid of power saws…
