Pottery Barn Inspired Master Bedroom Makeover
Submitted by Two Berti’s
My Inspiration for this room, was Beachy meets Pottery barn…. I wanted lots of whites, creams & greys with a touch of blue. Here was a picture I had found that I used as my inspiration…
The first thing we had to do when re-doing our bedroom, was to re-arrange our bed. We upgraded to a king size bed, and since our room is very big & long, it turned out the room looked more proportionate with the bed as the focal point under the window as soon as you walk in. Instead of it being in that left hand corner facing the bathroom.
<Please excuse the pictures, they are a little blurry because they are from my phone>

Love the beadboard and lighter color scheme. Looks very relaxing and peaceful 🙂
What an amazing transformation! I would never get out of bed if this were my retreat! 🙂 Much of my home has colors like in the “before” photo with the camel walls and the red chest of drawers – and let me tell you, I am T-I-R-E-D of it. I feel myself more and more drawn to the very calming colors like the ones you have incorporated here (and am dying to do some board and batten as well) but am overwhelmed by the thought of attempting such a job. This is just beautiful! Do you mind sharing the paint color you used on the bedroom walls?
Hey Kaille, thank you so much 🙂 The beadboard actually isn’t that hard since it comes in big sheets. And the paint for my bedroom is called Coventry Gray HC-169, and the wainscoting is called Mayonnaise OC-85 (both from Benjamin Moore)
Absolutely fantastic makeover! Of course, I love that you went coastal and you just can’t go wrong with Pottery Barn as your inspiration!
Smiles,
Lesli 🙂
Love the soft colors and beachy look We’re in the middle of a major renovation project and this goes in the inspiration file! Thanks so much

Currently remodeling my bedroom. I want to copy this! Could you tell me where you bought your bedframe/headboard from as well as that lovely dresser? Thanks!
Hi Reena! This was a guest post, so head over to the original blog (linked at the top of the post) and I’m sure she’d love to answer your question. Thanks!
