upcycles (and that’s actually what this blog started out as, documenting turning something old into something new!). There’s something so fun in seeing potential in pretty much everything —
that just needs legs and paint,
this would be perfect for a light fixture, and
that old thing just needs some creative hanging and tweaking! We picked out 6 of our favorite old-is-new upcycle projects from

Creative and Easy Upcycle Projects
Our creative partygoes gave new life to
an old shutter (White Tulip Designs)
humble but oh-so-useful paint stir sticks (Mylove2create)
old drawers (Refresh Living) — I love this so much! We shared drawer shelves here, but a different drawer can have a totally different look and style!
old door into decor/organizer (Character and Charm)
trash cans (Little Brags)
and an old fan (Redo It Yourself Inspirations) — who would have though “mail holder”??
