Hello Remodelaholics! We are excited to share our most recent projects with you (think built in shelves) as well as see what projects you have you been working on! You can show them off by emailing us at [email protected], or by sending us a photo here. We love to see the things that you create!
Recently Justin completed the latest project in their home, built in wall shelves! Check out his recent post with all the photos and details How to Build Recessed Shelves Between Studs in A Wall. I love the way it turned out! If you haven’t been following along with the progress of these built in bathroom shelves, you definitely need to check out the before and after. Plus you can learn how to build built in shelves like this in your home!
Another beautiful DIY built in shelves project is this DIY Built-In Media Wall Unit With Extra Storage (From An IKEA Bookcase!). It was inspired by a Pottery Barn Kid’s media wall system, but instead of $1,700, it was $100!! Check out the post by Tamara from Provident Home Design to see how she created this look!
Whether you have a laundry room, or a laundry closet, shelves are always a great idea! I love the idea of this Built-In Laundry Unit With Shelving. It looks so functional and just speaks to me! CK and Nate from Seesaws and Sawhorses moved their laundry room from a detached garage into a bedroom. And then they built an amazing laundry unit with lots of built in shelves for storage, a double hanging rod, plus tilted laundry baskets to make sorting and doing laundry easy! You have to see their process, and again, I just love the way it turned out!

Featured Facebook Fans: Carl’s New Work Bench
I love getting on Facebook and seeing the incredible projects you share with us! Or the questions that you send asking advice from the Remodelaholic community on various projects you are embarking on! The things that you create, the advice that you give, the styles you design are inspirational! Recently we were sent this completed project from Carl. He said,
“This work bench has the 50″ guide added. Have a similar router set up and the bench is about 12″ longer. Also used some damaged oak plywood.”
He created this work bench with help from our plans here.
It looks absolutely fantastic! Great job! It looks like the perfect place to work and makes me want a new one now too! Thank you so much for sending in pictures and sharing your new kitchen with us!
