Renovated Bathroom With New Double Sink Vanity

Renovated Bathroom With New
Double Sink Vanity
contributed by Alan and Val

The wait is finally over and we are ready to debut the new bathroom.

Here is a reminder of what the bathroom looked like before:

Some kind of weird counter with a sink that was impossible to use and a shower that appeared huge and wonderful from afar but…

when you got up close you realized the tile job was done wrong leaving it uneven and leaking water into the wall and floor.

And here is what it was like along the way:

Along with the help of my dad we took the whole thing down to the studs!

It was a long process but we are so happy and proud of the final results!

A new vanity with double sinks

A new shower with soaking tub.  All new tile and fixtures.

The walls were painted a light gray (Valspar’s Bay Waves) which coordinates with the rest of our place and the blue stripes (Behr’s Wishing Well) go along with our color blocked rooms.

We are so happy with how it turned out!

  1. >That turned out just gorgeous!! I plan to redecorate my bathroom and bedroom, and this makes me want to get to it right away. Wonderful job guys!!!

  2. >I love it! Especially the tiling on the tub! It Looks great. I wanted to ask where you got the cabinet above the toilet from. I have an empty space above my toilet that is screaming for something like that!

  3. >Thanks for the comments, glad you like the finished product! Green Gal – we got the cabinet from IKEA and the hardware from either Lowes or Home Depot. We actually painted the inside of the cabinet the blue that is on the walls, so it has a pop when you open it. Thanks!!
