Hello again! Dawn here, from AD Aesthetic, and I’m back with another mood board for your decoration inspiration. Spring is just around the corner, so I’ve had bright, fresh spaces on my mind lately. I don’t have much of a laundry room at my house (more like a closet) but I always feel like that […]
Today’s post is sponsored by Speed Queen, all opinions are my own. As my parents are getting older one of the main concerns that we have is for their safety. If you’ve read our blog for a while you know we lived with them for a couple years when we first moved to back to […]
Hey there! I’m Sarah from The Created Home, and I’m excited to share this fun project with you. Previously, I’ve shared a rustic outdoor chandelier, some scrap wood hearts, and a gorgeous fretwork console designed by Jen Woodhouse. Raise your hands if you just cannot get enough Fixer Upper? You guys, I finally found a […]
Hello again! Dawn here, from DesigningDawn.com, back with another mood board for your decoration inspiration. This month, I wanted to try tackling a room I’ve never created a mood board for before… the laundry room. I should start by saying that I detest laundry with a white hot passion. It is my absolute least favorite chore, […]

In our new house we are moving the laundry room from the end of the kitchen to a small entry closet. While the space will be far more compact, I feel like we can make something great with the right inspiration! Like I mentioned in this post, Justin and I are hoping to build a house […]
A laundry room needs to be functional (like these hard-working laundry rooms), but it’s not usually the first room on the list for a face-lift or makeover. Then why do we all dream of a beautiful, cheery laundry room — without doing anything about it? I can’t really answer that (because I’m guilty of complaining […]

Laundry rooms are such workhorses of the home. Day in and day out, we use our laundry rooms (or closets, or corners), often with little thought to design or even sometimes to organizing! I mean, if you’re like me, you try to think of the laundry as little as possible… But, no matter how much […]

[tps_header] Solutions for Small Laundry Spaces No matter your setup, try one of these ideas to maximize your space and storage in your laundry. Awhile back, I shared a link on Facebook to a past post where I had featured some real-life laundry rooms by fellow bloggers with the sentiment that these were based in reality […]
Whether I like it or not, I spend many hours a week in my laundry room, especially with the fun — and messy! — activities that warm weather brings. Having an organized laundry room means that I can, hopefully, spend less time doing the laundry, but I like to make my space beautiful, too, so […]
Next to the bathroom, laundry rooms and mudrooms have to be the hardest working rooms in our houses. They take a beating–getting the muddy boots and dirty clothes that go along with the business of living dropped on their floors on a daily basis. Scrubbing stains isn’t glamorous, and neither is folding piles and piles of clothes, and both those jobs take time. So why are these hardworking laundry rooms that we spend so much time in usually overlooked when we decorate? I’ve found some terrific laundry room makeovers by bloggers that prove to the world that laundry rooms are worth decorating, and doing so doesn’t have to be complicated or expensive.
