Arch You Inspired…

This house is in the town where my parents liven.  I think it is enchanting.  Especially the look of the doors ( do you see the arched screen door, on the little patio, just waiting to let a cool breeze into your living room?).  The sad part?  It is on a totally busy road.

Do old houses like this talk to you, sing to you?  Or do you run from them screaming!!?

I love old houses.. I totally see the draw, and I love the quirks.  I love the quality of materials and the layers of funny past designs, or quick fixes that have been there for 70 years.  I would like another old house someday.  Probably not with young kids…  who knows!

So, this house may need some love, but isn’t it charming?!
