It’s June and it’s summer and it’s amazing — and it finally stopped raining here! It was so nice to have some moisture, for the garden and the yard, especially since we are in a drought, but now the hot summer sun is here, and that’s okay, too. I’m always grateful for a change of seasons! Speaking of which… if you don’t follow on Instagram, you may have missed some big changes and announcements, so head over there to check out the latest (there’s both house news and other happy news!).
Before we get to the awesome features from last month’s party, a couple of quick housekeeping items of business:
1. Contributor team openings We adore our contributors, and we have a couple of openings on our team. If you’re an awesome DIY/home blogger and want to join our Remodelaholic team, come apply here.
2. Share your wall decor projects As I mentioned last month — we are putting together another awesome theme week, this one all about wall decor. We’re finalizing our line-up this weekend, so if you have a project you’d love to see featured, come show us here.
3. How are your countertops? cabinets? We really do want to know! Tell us your stories, good and bad, about DIYing countertops and cabinets. We’re compiling the results to make an awesome do’s and do nots series full of tips, tricks, and tutorials, from everyday DIYers like you (bloggers also welcome ;). Come take the quick (no, really quick!) survey here.
Okay, housekeeping done. On to the link party!
We always have so much talent at our link parties, and we love seeing what you’re doing!! This month, I chose some of my favorite room makeovers to feature, but there are so many beautiful and amazing projects, so be sure to pop over to see all of them from last month and then link up your projects below!
Inspiring Room Makeovers
The gals at Sypsie took on the One Room Challenge and redid the guest bedroom. The end result is beautiful!
This playroom over at Delightfully Noted is so bright and cheerful — it started as a blank slate and got some wonderful love, also as part of the One Room Challenge!
I could spend all day looking at different kitchen styles. The farmhouse kitchen remodel by Through My Creative Mind is so homey — I really like the open shelves and the pop of red cabinets for a little more color!
Blue I Style rocked this under the stairs play space! What kiddo wouldn’t love to play in there now??
More kitchen inspiration — this one with blue cabinets, courtesy of Toolbox Divas.
Melissa’s guest room looks so inviting — I want to go stay! See more over at A Prudent Life.
And technically this isn’t a room… but I really like the brunch patio setup over at Little Brags! So inviting.
Now it’s your turn — share your projects, makeovers, before and afters, fails, wins, and everything in between! Can’t wait to see!
