Lately it seems like everything old is new again.  Thanks in part to Mad Men, mid-century modern style is back on trend.  Retro color schemes are hot right now, with 1960’s favorites like turquoise, mint, and coral getting a revival in the fashion and design world.

The last two colors we brought out from the Remodelaholic color files were Red and Pink, so it seems right to move along to coral, today.  After all, coral lies somewhere in the middle of those two shades.  You’ll see in the inspiration photos below that some coral tones lean more towards red, and some are much more closely related to pink.  It’s a warm, friendly color that looks amazing paired with blues, greens, browns, gray, and gold.
