Day 6: Chevron Hair

So I really have been waiting to find the video Justin and I made on our first date… I need to convert it to DVD and upload it.  But first I need to find it.  I had a whole schedule for this 31 days thing but this weekend was conference weekend for our church (we’re LDS) which means we get to stay home and watch the presidency of our church talk.  But it is sort of a long haul with all told 8-10 hours, which means I wasn’t online at all.  So, needless to say, I was busy.  Now I am so refreshed and positive right, and it is even morning as I write this, so that is saying something (not exactly a morning person).

Since we had the 25 Chevron Ideas Post this morning I though I would share how I did my girl’s hair this morning.  I’ve been doing this to my own hair all through high school, but it just makes their hair that much more fun than a regular part.  (Disclaimer:  I do not do their hair this cool everyday… I wish I was that good, but I am not!)

I will call it a chevron hair part.  (I just gotta say, taking pictures of toddlers, is hard! don’t you agree, it is so sad how the cutest smiles turn out blurry)  The lighting was bad inside so we went outside too.

Props help to keep them still!

(I LOVE the kids food toys from Ikea, I LOVE them!  No hours of sewing cute soft play food for them! A prefect deal if you ask me!)

It is getting cold here.  I am getting excited for winter, but sad about not being able to be outside very much!  What are you guys up to?  Say hi if you read this, I love to hear form you!

    1. Kelli, that sounds like the PREFECT weather to me! That is what we’ve been enjoying, but it is just getting a little too cold to comfortably hang out at anytime other than the middle of the day!

  1. Very cute and loving those striped tights! If only I could pull those off again. I remember when zig zag parts were all the rage back in middle school… many a morning were spent perfecting the zigs and the zags.

      1. OF COURSE, I miss you too Justin! Hahahaha! You are so silly. I love seeing these old pics of you guys. Priceless. I think your high school ones are the funniest. 😀
