Many items in our kitchen pantries come in flimsy containers, boxes or bulk food bags. They are often not easy to access, and they can make a pantry look really cluttered in no time.
One of the most effective solutions to an organized pantry is clear containers with labels. Clear containers are sold in many stores. We all have plenty of clear jars in our recycle bins which can be reused for the pantry.
To use these labels, first print each sheet on a sheet of blank 8.5″ x 11″ white mailing label.
Each pantry label is sized at 2.5″ at 300 dpi, which means you can print them at smaller or actual size, or up to 5″, which is 200% the size without losing resolution.
Of course I can’t list all the food items on the planet, which is why I also included sheets of blank labels you can fill out with a white gel pen.
Cut out each label, peel off the backing and put it on a glass jar. Fill the jar with yummy goodies.
That’s all you need to do!
Here is another way to use these labels.
Print them out on card stock, use a hole punch to punch a hole at the corner, and tie a piece of twine through the hole onto the jar.
I love this look, do you?

I love the chalk look labels, however, can you remove them when you put something different in the jar?
Great question, Chris! That will depend on how you put them on the jar. Tags with string like Ananda used are obviously the easiest to swap, but it looks like there is printable sticker paper that is meant to be removable, according to Amazon (affiliate) https://amzn.to/2aE7LVW 🙂 Otherwise, I’ve had great success with goo-gone for getting labels off.
These are just wonderful! Can’t wait to print them all out. Thanks for offering them for free and including extra labels. I’m going to give a few sets as gifts, too! Happy holidays!
What a great idea! Thanks for the comment, Deb.
