Another week has flown by, and we’re ready for this week’s Friday Favorites and Remodelaholics Anonymous link up! We have some beautiful kitchen ideas this week, plus some odds and ends (like usual) of things that we’ve loved. Enjoy and have a great weekend!

Favorite green: Even though we were talking about sage green earlier this week, I’m always a fan of bold green, too, like this freebie from Home Beautifully. In the midst of the snow, any sign of green is welcome, and if it brings good luck, then that’s a bonus!
Favorite bathroom reno: As we’ve been renovating our bathroom, I love seeing what others are doing and I love the storage in this reno by @ourfiftiesfixerupper! (If you want to show off your space, tag #imaremodelaholic on Instagram.)

Favorite reason to buy new shoes: I love getting new shoes, and this creative shoe box upcycle by Pillar Box Blue is a great reason to get a new pair and then give the box a new look! 😉
Favorite reason to buy fresh flowers: I sound like I’m a shopaholic… but that’s a discussion for another day… I love having fresh flowers (or even paper ones) around for some added color, and this mini crated demijohn style vase that Sadie Seasongoods made is just too cute!
Favorite new twist: Our amazing reader Emily (who shared her beautiful barn door here awhile back) sent us this photo of a recent project and we are all crazy about it! The pieced wooden diamonds of the door and the gold hardware give the barn door a modern twist instead of the traditionally rustic style and I’m in LOVE!
Favorite clock: I love how Lora Bloomquist combined a vintage printer’s tray with a retro clock for a unique statement on her wall!
Favorite not-your-traditional backsplash: Brick! Isn’t this brick backsplash beautiful? (From our local homeshow, built by Premier Development and designed by Designer Furniture Gallery, Brook Nyberg)

Favorite fake out: Did you know that stainless steel contact paper is a thing? Well, it is, and Duct Tape and Denim used it to give this little kitchen storage shelf a whole new look.
Favorite geek-out: Harry Potter APRONS! I need them all, right? Get them here.
Favorite sign that spring is coming: It’s time to start planning gardens and spring flowers! See how to build this trellis style over at The Handyman’s Daughter.
Favorite time saver: Since we shared our cleaning binder printables earlier this week, I’ve had cleaning on the brain… but I like it done quickly so I loved reading these tips for speed cleaning your kitchen in 20 minutes or less from Clean and Scentsible.
Favorite space to dream: Most homes don’t have bathrooms like this but doesn’t this corner look like PERFECTION?! (From our local home show, built by Raykon Construction)

Thank you so much for featuring my shoe boxes. I agree it’s a good excuse to buy new shoes.
Thank you so much for featuring my trellises! I can’t wait to see those vines growing on them again this spring!
