Home Sweet Home on a Budget: Holiday Linkup Features
I hope that all of you enjoyed a wonderful Christmas and that you are looking forward to a happy new year! I definitely enjoyed checking out the holiday projects that you linked up last week. Thanks to everyone who shared their festive projects and recipes with us. Here are a few that caught my eye:
This peppermint bark from Chippa Sunshine looks delish. The photography made me drool, too.
From New House to Home shared their screen porch all dressed up for Christmas. It’s lovely.
The Christmas mantel at Two Oh Two Seven is different and beautiful. I especially like the paper poinsettias.
Just Dip It In Chocolate shared the amazing garland she made for her stair railing. Wow!
Here’s a yummy recipe that is perfect for holiday gatherings from What Does She Do All Day.
Creative Juices Decor shared a couple projects with us that I’ve just got to try:
….and Icy Candle Holders.
Simply Organized has been taking pictures of holiday decor around her southern neighborhood, and is letting the rest of us enjoy what she’s been seeing. Love this peek at Christmas in the South!
You may have already noticed, but there have been some pretty amazing holiday home tours offered by other bloggers, this year. Maybe because we’re living in a bit of a construction zone right now, I’ve been living vicariously through all of these home tours. I love Christmas decorating, and it’s so fun to see how other people are making their homes look festive. It’s really amazing to see how people can use similar elements–glass ball ornaments, pine boughs, ribbons, etc.–and come up with completely fresh interpretations of Christmas decor. Anyway, just thought I’d share links with you to some of my favorite 2012 holiday home tours. Enjoy!
