Last Minute Easter Ideas

Hey everyone, it is totally late (Thursday night as I type this) I just got back from seeing Hunger Games with my friend Maria… It. was. good.  I totally need to re-read the two last books now… I should not have seen it, okay I am glad I did, it was SO STINKING GOOD!  Not exactly happy but it just really felt so real to me… anyone else have any thoughts on the subject?

Okay well here is my strange and awkward transition into the happy subject of Easter.  Yep done… how is that for a transition?

The other day I got a great email from my friend with some really fun activity ideas for kids for Easter and I thought I would share some of the ones I liked and others that I have found.

I LOVE this Easter egg lunch hunt idea… fun for finding and fun for eating (without the sugar comma).

Glow in the Dark Easter Egg Hunt!  Wow, this is so fun you definitely don’t need candy!  (Can you tell I don’t want a ton of candy sitting around my house!?)

Resurrection Eggs _ I think it would be fun to hide these with their eggs, bring them all in together and then read them in order… or how ever it says to do it… and you could avoid extra sugar for your kids AND teach them about Easter!  Love this idea!

Make some Resurrection Rolls…(Etta would love this one!)

And for fun décor I love this from Martha!

  1. I enjoyed the movie too. We saw it Sunday night at a drive in movie theater. Wishing you and your family a wonderful Easter. I really like the glow in the dark eggs. Thanks for sharing.
