On Parade…
I wanted to show you my sister’s living room all finished today but I ran out of time while writing it, so instead I’ve decided to share some of my favorite picture of the Utah Valley Parade of Homes going on now through the 21st…
Justin and I love to go the the parade of homes every year. So far we have only seen 4 houses, but they have all had some great features. If you are local there is still plenty of time to check them out. Can’t wait to see more!
So really we just want to see pictures right? If you follow me on instagram you will see some of my favorite shots right away. Okay… here you go!
House #1
Love this Chesterfield Sofa! Great color too!
I liked the wall treatment above the fireplace and I REALLY want one of these ceramic dear heads…. (one of the reps at this house said it is from Z Gallerie)
I love all the color and pattern in this room!
Such a cute little boys room!
I want a cool side table like this one!
Again i love the bright colors! So Cheerful!
This is a great, SUPER simple, wall treatment.
I really love the tile back splash under the sink on this vanity! Gorgeous detail!

The view wasn’t so bad either!
House #2
Don’t take this personally if you have a corner pantry, but i have to admit I don’t love the look of them. and they are EVERYWHERE! i love how the builders made this corner pantry look like cabinetry! If you need a corner pantry I would totally do it this way!
Hello beautiful! Love the built in washer and dryer! Fabulous!
Beautiful homes. Do you know what type of wood floor is used in the kitchen with the corner pantry? It’s gorgeous!
Lisa, it was TILE (can you believe that??)!!! I loved it too! (but I don’t know the brand!)
I love wood look tile but this one fooled me because of the color variations. Beautiful.
Any idea where the statue of the mother dancing with the children statue in the living room of house #4 is from?? I love it!!
I don’t know but I love it too! you could email the builder, from the UV parade website maybe?
Love love love house #3…The office/crafty room in #4. Thanks for showing these.
The only big change I’d made in #3 would have been the mantle. Too small and white.
You guys decided yet to build or buy? Which one did you like best?
We actually found a great old house and put an offer in but we haven’t heard back… so who knows. maybe we will build after all!?!
A great old house? That would work cause then we’d get to watch you guys turn it into a great “We did it our way” house. 😉 But building is nice too. Hard to choose…
I’ve been following your blog for sometime and have wanted to comment several times. As a flooring contractor, I work with a lot of high-end designers. And it’s fun to see our work (and those of our friends) appreciated.
I am obsessed with that light fixture where on earth can I find it. Who do I ask? I’m in utah but I bet I can’t find it anywhere!!
Love this house.
Which house Ali? (I don’t have any sources… though, sorry!) You could email the builder and see if the designer knows… but also a LOT of the homes were decorated with Osmond Design stuff, (so far). So maybe give them a call and see if they have it. Good Luck!
Those houses look gorgeous! I love doing home tours like this too!
I don’t like the wood tile with the wood cabinets. You should never mix fake wood with real wood. Painted cabinets in that kitchen would have looked better. Otherwise these homes a very nice. I love the orange barn door.
I am loving the dark Carpet in the House #1. Did you see a lot of darker carpet in the parade? I am trying to decide the color for my basement? Thanks!
Thanks for sharing. Oh my goodness, these houses are amazing!
I haven’t had time to go this year, but I did see home #3 (my neighbor is the builder). I loved it! It was fun to see your photos of a few of the other homes as well!
Thanks for sharing! Love these! Post more as you go:)
This is one of the best decorated model homes I have ever seen! Thank you so much for sharing!
Thanks, Jennifer!
Love family room wall color and railings. What color paint?
I’m not sure Tracy — I don’t have all the info since this was the Parade of Homes. But you could try using the Sherwin-Williams Chip It tool for a match.
I absolutely love that barn door! Thanks so much for sharing the pictures of such beautiful spaces! Can you tell me what brand and color of paint is on that door?
I’m kind of a Parade of Homes addict for that very reason — beautiful spaces! I don’t have the details about the color on the door, unfortunately. It looks like it might be a close match to Coral Reef by Sherwin Williams, like I used here, but you can use a color finder like the Chip It from Sherwin Williams (https://letschipit.com) or check out some great coral paint colors here.
Would love to know where to buy the couch from in picture #! ?
Please tell me what kind of backsplash that is. It looks like a stainless but I want to know where and how to get it! Thanks!!!!
