Friday Favorites: Pink Doors and Pergolas
Happy Friday! I hope you’ve all had an amazing week and are finding someplace cool to lounge in the heat like we are doing! Popsicles all around 🙂
We have some really fun link party features and other Friday Favorites today — but first, a little bit of business:
First of all: be sure to build this new super easy kids bookshelf!
Secondly: Check out Turning Tables DIY Week, a full week of DIY table projects.
Okay, now we can get on to our Friday Favorites. Link up your projects below to be featured next week!
Favorite summer hangout: I only wish I could go hang out with Lauren at Stillwater Farm! She shared this recent picture of her pergola (which she shared the tutorial for here) and it’s just so PERFECT! Be sure to go follow her @mrslaurenash on Instagram to see more of her beautiful home.
Favorite she-did-it project: I love seeing projects like this, built lovingly by a DIYer. Isn’t this island by Queen Bee of Honeydos great?
Favorite art activity: Fix This Build That made this acrylic easel with kids in mind, but I would have a blast as well! And wouldn’t it be fun to have someone stand behind while you “paint” their face?
Favorite wreath alternative: Wreaths can be great, but I love seeing flower displays like this pretty basket at Love of Home.
Favorite fun door color: Would you put this bright lipstick pink front door on your house? It looks great with a neutral colored siding and black shutters — plus a matching hanging flower basket, of course!
Favorite reason to go BOLD: Blue I Style used a bold cement tile in her bathroom backsplash, and while it doesn’t go with the spa feel that I personally love, it is beautiful!
Favorite reason to stay neutral ;): Shades of Blue Interiors‘ bathroom makeover is a little more my neutral style — isn’t it funny how two rooms can be so different but yet still both lovely? This is why I love home decor, so much to appreciate.
Favorite breakfast nook: There’s just so much to love in Nina Hendrick‘s breakfast nook! I would love a space like this.
Lorene has been behind the scenes here at Remodelaholic for more than a decade! She believes that planning projects and actually completing them are two different hobbies, but that doesn't stop her from planning at least a dozen projects at any given time. She spends her free time creating memories with her husband and 5 kids, traveling as far as she can afford, and partaking of books in any form available.
Thank you SO much for featuring my summer door basket!
Thanks for linking up, Susan!
