• Pizza:
• 3/4 cup store-bought marinara sauce
• 3/4 cup Monterey Jack cheese
• 1 pint grape tomatoes
• 1/2 medium red onion, thinly sliced
• 1/2 pound ground beef chuck
• Course salt and ground pepper
Instructions
1. If making your dough fresh, whisk together flour and salt in a large bowl. Make a well in the center of the flour.
2. In a separate bowl, whisk warm water, sugar, and yeast. Pour into well in the flour.
3. When yeast mixture is foamy, add olive oil and mix til combined. Knead until smooth, about 5 minutes.
4. Brush dough with additional olive oil. Cover in a bowl and let raise until doubled in size. about 90 minutes.
5. When raised, divide dough into two 1-lb balls (use 1 lb. dough per pizza).
6. Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Spray rimmed cooking sheet with olive oil spray.
7. On a lightly floured work surface, use a rolling pin and your hands to roll and stretch dough into a 15-by-11-inch rectangle. If dough becomes too elastic to work with, let it rest a few minutes. Transfer to prepared sheet.
8. Spread sauce evenly over dough, leaving a 1-inch border all around. Top with provolone, tomatoes, and onion; scatter beef over top. Season with salt and pepper.
9. Bake until crust is golden, beef is cooked, and cheese is melted, about 20 minutes. Serve immediately.
