The Ten Oils of Joy Essential Oil and their Uses
Joy essential oil from Young Living is a blend of Bergamot, Ylang Ylang, Geranium, Coriander, Lemon, Tangerine, Jasmine, Roman Chamomile, Palmarosa, and Rose. All of this combines to give a wonderful sent that is flowery with hints of citrus. Of course the added plus of a blended essential oil is you get the benefits of all these oils combined into one bottle.
Here are some uses for each of the ingredients that make up Joy blended essential oil.
Bergamot
~ This one might be familiar as the flavoring in Earl Gray tea. It can be beneficial for oily and trouble skin and female hormonal issues. Bergamot is used to give a calming feeling which can lead to building confidence.
Ylang Ylang
~ Ylang ylang is very good at calming and bringing about a sense of relaxation. These feelings could lead to releasing feelings of anger, tension, and nervous irritability. Also, this essential oil is often used to promote beautiful hair and skin.
Geranium
~ This essential oil’s flowery scent is often inhaled to help release negative memories. It can be used to revitalize body tissues, and be a benefit for the circulatory and nervous system.
Coriander
~ While some might be familiar with this as a spice used when cooking certain dishes, as an essential oil Coriander can be used in pancreatic support and digestive support.
Lemon
~ This essential oil can be used to give an energizing feeling, is beneficial with circulatory support, and has a cleansing property. It is also great for flavoring food and can even be used as a benefit to the skin.
Tangerine
~ This essential oil is rich in the powerful antioxidant d-limonene. Nervous irritability can be helped to be relieved by using this oil. And of course, Tangerine is often used in flavoring food.
Jasmine
~ Jasmine has often been used for some time now for romance and attraction. It relaxes, soothes, uplifts, and enhances self-confidence
Roman Chamomile
~ This essential oil is added to massage oil to relieve muscle tension and promote relaxation. Its gentle scent and claming properties can be used with restless children. Most Europeans will find roman chamomile used in skin preparations for skin health.
Palmarosa
~ This essential oil is used to stimulate and soothe the mind and body.
Rose
~ Rose is something that most people are already familiar with, and wouldn’t think of using it as an essential oil, but they would be missing out on the benefits. It is perfect to use on dry and aging skin. Also, it can promote energy balance and emotional release.
