Top Ten Chalkboard Paint Projects
I predicted a few weeks ago that metallics would be the faux finish to replace chalkboard paint this year. The metal (or faux-metal) look is definitely gaining popularity, but chalkboard is still holding strong, so there might be a fight to the finish! It’s okay — you can cheer for both.
One big bonus for chalkboard paint is that it’s quite versatile and very easy to use. You can buy pre-made paint in many brands at your local hardware store or you can make your own chalkboard paint in any color you want. Once you have your paint, you can put it on just about anything! (And if you like black but aren’t sure about the chalk thing, pop over and get some black color file inspiration.)
