Top Ten Hexagon Projects

Hexagons are definitely the “in” shape this season (accompanied by other geometric trends). I am seeing the simple honeycomb shape everywhere — clothes, jewelry, and definitely in home decor and design. Just look at some of the beautiful designs I’ve stumbled across:

But hexagons aren’t exclusive to the designer set, as I’m sure you’ve seen. There are plenty of do-it-yourself projects to bring this hot and happening shape into your home, no matter what skill level you are. I’ve rounded up ten of my favorite honeycomb-inspired DIYs for you today.

  3. I’m going to have to check out that honeycomb headboard idea. My teenage son needs some sort of headboard, but the ceiling is slanted where his headboard will go, so I don’t have a lot of height to work with. Plus he needs something interesting in his room, so maybe a honeycomb pattern on the wall could be it!
