Multi-function Mudroom with Cubbies and a Small Desk
Mudrooms (and a lot of spaces for that matter) are now being designed as multi-function areas. Why not incorporate a spot for bill paying or a small homework station into the mudroom? We love the white cabinets and stained wood bench and desk top. It’s very stylish and easy to maintain with a hint of farmhouse and a lot of traditional style.
Crave a Little Color? Why not add some in the mudroom?
For some of you, color is essential. While neutral canvases and more natural design elements seem to rule current design style, don’t be afraid to add some character to cabinets by using color. In this mudroom, the designer paired a baby blue with red pops of color. Too cute! Gold pulls also add a fun touch. Get more inspiration from our 100+ Inspiring Mudrooms and Entryways post.

Mudroom/Laundry Room with black cabinets and built-in bench

And more black cabinets!
Although this mudroom is very large, it’s so homey! Ornamented cabinetry and brick flooring feel old world. Once again, we see the built-in bench. Can you imagine what could be stored inside all that space? While we can only dream of a mudroom this size, it’s sure fun to see design ideas.

Create a Mudroom from a Pre-existing space
If your family really needs a larger space to put a mudroom, why not convert another room to serve that purpose. This room by @creeklinehouse is astounding! We can’t decide which feature we like best: gray cabinets, that gorgeous window (with beautiful molding) or the brick wall!! Lots of drawer space is such a great idea. Ample wall hooks provide a place for hanging lots of items.
