Good afternoon Remodelaholics! We hope that you are making progress on your holiday projects! Today is a great day for that because… it’s a snow day! We woke up to almost half a foot of snow and it is forcasted to snow the rest of the day plus tomorrow! I can hardly believe it. But we are planning on staying in pajamas all day just getting stuff done!
Have you finished any DIY gifts this year? We want to see your DIY holiday projects, DIY gifts, and as always, your every day home projects! You can message us on Facebook or click here to send a photo!
What’s New on YouTube
Would you like USB ports to be a part of your wall outlets? I know I would love it in so many areas of my home for convenience. This week Justin walked us through the Easy Install: Leviton Duplex USB Charger Outlet. I am a visual learner, so I loved watching him install it step, by step, before attempting it myself. Now, I feel like I can add them to my home too!
Want to add something new to your light display this year? Justin is taking you through his DIY Giant Lighted Christmas Star; Outdoor Christmas Light Display. It’s not just a fun, little addition. It’s a 16 foot addition that your kids and neighbors will love! Watch the video below to learn all about how its done!
If you love watching projects be made before you begin, check out our library of video tutorials! You can view all of our available video tutorials and our next new project. Get notifications when new ones are published by subscribing now! Give us a thumbs up to let us know you liked it!
We love the look of this DIY Planked X Farmhouse Side Table. Ananda from A Piece of Rainbow created this beautiful table, and we have the how-to for you! It is stylish and versatile. It looks great as a side table, end table, or even a small coffee table! Where would you put it?
Another end table that we love is this DIY Mid-Century Modern Side Table and Magazine Holder from Amy with Hertoolbelt. While we don’t have a lot of magazines in our home, we love our books, and family photobooks! I am always trying to find a great place for our most recent ones so my kids and friends can have easy access to them to flip through them and enjoy them (they were a lot of work to put together after all). This is the perfect solution for that!
If you are looked for a more modern and simple option for your tables, you’ll love these DIY Hexagon Stool or Side Table Using Thrifted Legs. Geometric shapes are popular pieces right now, but that doesn’t mean you have to break the bank to get them in your home. Check out the post to see how Thalita from the Learner Observer styled these as plant stands and find out why she chose to create them with thrifted table legs!
Would you believe us if we told you this Rustic Square Bedside Table was less than $25? Jamison from Rogue Engineer created it for their guest room and we have the full tutorial for you! It’s a gorgeous piece and has so much character! This piece would be beautiful in nearly any room! It’s definitely a top DIY choice and a favorite for many!
