Individual Serving Microwave Chocolate Torte & Recipe Link
–
One of my personal favorite recipes that I have shared with you so far is my microwave pudding cake. And I have been thinking about expanding my favorites list… with today’s microwave concoction… a little chocolate torte.
Last week when I showed you the best fudge brownie recipe I didn’t tell you about the little miracle that occurred while making those. After filling the cupcakes up I had about a 1/2 cup of batter left over… I couldn’t just throw it away. And I thought, well what if I just popped this in the microwave? How would a fudge brownie work out in there.
So, did it yield a perfect brownie? Well, not exactly… but what did happen, might just be my new favorite dessert. It was a dense, rich, chocolaty dessert that resembles this flourless chocolate torte recipe that I shared with you ages ago… only from the microwave. I had to tweak the recipe a bit, it couldn’t just be sized down… but I feel like I got it and I finally get to share it with you!
The perfect part about this recipe is it make two small tortes. Perfect for a chocolate craving… without the left overs nagging you to eat them…
Individual Chocolate Microwave Torte Recipe
makes 2 small servings
2 1/2 Tbsp. melted butter
2 Tbsp. baking cocoa
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 tsp. vanilla
1 egg white
2 shakes salt
1/8 tsp. baking soda
1 Tbsp. flour
Instructions: In a microwavable cereal bowl, melt your butter. Add the cocoa, and combine. Add the sugar, mix till combined. Add the vanilla, mix again! And add the egg white… you guessed it, mix again!
Sprinkle on the salt, baking soda and flour and mix till combined.
Divide equally into two small ramekins or bowls (6-8 oz. size) and microwave 1 at a time for no more that 45 seconds. Done! I served mine with a quick shot of whipped cream and some shaved chocolate! Enjoy!
YUM!!! Thanks for sharing!! This is perfect for those moments when I’m having a chocolate craving!
I think I could die just looking at your photos of this chocolate dessert! When I saw your link on Make yourself Monday, I had to click on it. Anything chocolatey that can be made in the microwave is a winner in my book 🙂
