Paper Christmas Decorations; Day 10

….on the tenth day of Christmas my blog friend gave to me….
Paper Leaf Wreath
This takes a bit of time cutting out leaves, but after that it is a snap.
Why yes, that is an old pizza box… the top actually.  Take two bowls and draw an outer ring and an inner ring.  Cut out of cardboard, (or chip board if you have a big enough piece)
Now pick out the paper you would like to use.  I chose textured gold tones.  I had card stock in the mix for this project, and I think it would have been easier with plain weight like 20 lb paper.
Now roll the bottom of your leaf, and staple it in place on the cardboard ring.
Working your way around the ring until it is all filled out!
I stapled a looped twist tie on the back to hang it, and that’s all folks!
The source for this idea is The Red Thread.
