Remodelaholic in Review: April 2014
Before we get to the review of what we did in April, I have a fun announcement for you, especially if you are a designer —
we are now accepting printables contributors!
You can get the full details and submit your printable(s) here, but in a nutshell we are looking for creative and beautiful original printables to be shared exclusively on Remodelaholic. If you are a designer with a fun new printable to share, contact us! We are excited to get to work with you and introduce you to all our wonderful Remodelaholics.
And now, the recap of what we did here on Remodelaholic in April — don’t forget to come follow me on Instagram to see sneak peeks of what’s coming up in May!
(remember, you can click the links or the photos to see the original post)
National Painting Week with Sherwin-Williams!
It’s kind of a big deal around here. Last year we shared our board and batten wall and our Swedish Mora clock, and this year we rocked it again (if I do say so myself) with our girls’ cottage playhouse bunkbeds:
I talked about house exterior finishes and showed you some gorgeous vinyl siding options:
We had a happy Easter, and I hope you all did too! #becauseofhim
And with spring comes the cleaning… but I didn’t leave my girls out of it! I got them involved and shared our tips for cleaning with kids, plus gave one of you an awesome prize pack and Home Depot gift card!
We are so excited to be back in our beautiful backyard again now that it is warm! We started off the spring by building a beautiful arbor for our cucumbers and grape tomatoes to grow on — and, of course, we shared the tutorial so you can build your own:
And I also shared some fun ideas for sprucing up your porch over on Wayfair’s Idea Lounge.
And please, if you don’t already, come follow my other site, Tipsaholic. It’s like the best of Pinterest, all in one place, from great authors. Some of my favorite articles this month (but please go check them all out!)

Lorene has been behind the scenes here at Remodelaholic for more than a decade! She believes that planning projects and actually completing them are two different hobbies, but that doesn't stop her from planning at least a dozen projects at any given time. She spends her free time creating memories with her husband and 5 kids, traveling as far as she can afford, and partaking of books in any form available.
Lots of beautiful things going on over here!
Thanks guys.
