Remodelaholic in Review: June 2014
Welcome to July! I hope you all had a wonderful holiday and are finding creative ways to beat the heat. Around here, we are staying busy (but not necessarily cool!) with our newest project: our new house! Because where would we remodelaholics be without a new old house to remodel? 😉
It is definitely going to keep us busy, but I will do my best to share updates here as I can. Thank goodness for our awesome contributor team and our amazing guests who can help give you your daily dose of DIY while we are busy ripping out carpet… and everything else. If you want to keep up on the play by play of the remodel and other tidbits, be sure that you follow me over on Instagram — you can follow our blog account at @remodelaholic or I’ve created a personal account @cassandjustin if you want to follow our family adventures.
On the blog, our big thing last month was Headboard Week! But since most of it was actually in July, I’m going to save the recap for next month’s post and just send you over here to check out all of the great features, inspiration, tutorials, and link-ups 🙂
And, in preparation for our new home projects — because research is so important in any venture, right? — we checked out our local Parade of Homes. I shared a few of the pictures from my favorite homes here, but I hope to share more soon (and I’ve been sharing a bunch over on Instagram, too). This one has been really popular:
Home Decor Inspiration and More

And our Get This Look library just keeps growing! Try these two new (and very different!) looks that we added this month:

One of our favorite places to find great tutorials and bloggers is at our weekend link parties — if you don’t already, we’d LOVE to have join us! You can link up to 3 of your awesome projects, and each week we have a loose “theme” that we choose our features from. This month, we featured:

I liked the attic makeover. The wooden wall paneling looks nice. I bet it took some time putting all together.
