Remodelaholic in Review: August 2016
Happy September everyone! Summer is over for us, and boy it’s hard to let go of knowing how much fun we have! Probably by this time in the month, all the school age kids are back in school and you are wondering how to fill your time right? That’s where our awesome home inspiration projects come in! We have had so many great projects shared, and more going up each day! Make sure to check them out and share with us what you create! I always love when Cassity shares photos of her home, especially her mantel. She always has it decorated to perfection! Our first guest feature this month is Christine from the Pinspiration Mommy blog. In her spare time she loves doing woodwork and creating furniture and decor for her home. Recently, she created this beautiful Corner Bench with Built-in Table! It is the perfect finish to her beautiful porch! This photo inspiration could have come straight from a magazine! Thank you Christine for sharing this with us and for teaching us how we can make one too!
Few things are as sweet as a good before and after photo comparison right? I can’t get enough of them! There is so much talent out there, and today Liz from Simple Decorating Tips is doing a bit of bragging, but rightly so. Her son and daughter in law created this gorgeous DIY Wall Mounted Pot Rack from a Shallow Display Cabinet. It is so inspiring to see other people’s ideas turn to reality! Thank you for sharing it with us and inspiring us think outside the box!
Our final guest post of the month could not have come at a better time! Campfires, amazing outdoor lights, and fall. They just go together right? This Easy DIY Outdoor Lighting Around a Fire Pit was created by Caroline, you can check her out on Instagram @carolavallee. Caroline, thank you for sharing the how-to’s of this amazing lighting set up! I think if this was my backyard, I would have a hard time doing anything inside at night! It’s gorgeous!
