December 2013 Remodelaholic in Review

I know that we just reviewed all of our 2013 projects and I shared our family’s Top 10 for 2013, so I hope you’re not sick of these review posts… because here comes one more!

I started off December with the 12 Days of Christmas and — wait for it — I actually made it through all 12 days! And I managed to clean up the project mess enough to share a Christmas home tour, too!

In the mix I also shared a few of my favorite things and got to give away a Blendtec! I also gave away a Dremel Saw-Max (such an awesome tool!). I am so glad for great sponsors like Blendtec and Dremel who are willing to do awesome giveaways with us. And if you’re looking to get a head-start on the 2014 holiday season (did I really just say that?), go check out all the ideas in the 12 Days of Christmas link party

We love the giving of the holiday season, so we hosted a flash giveaway over on Instagram AND one on Facebook… be sure you’re following because we just might be doing things like that again… We were also featured in the 2013 Holiday Gift Guide over at Centsational Girl, and our dresser to vanity guest post from way back in 2010 was included as one of Pinterest’s Top Pins of the Year!

Contributors

We snuck in the very first of our new contributor team! Michelle from 4men1lady shared her lovely white Christmas tree with DIY wood stick arrow ornaments:

She believes that planning projects and actually completing them are two different hobbies, but that doesn't stop her from planning at least a dozen projects at any given time.
